Nottingham Forest Host for Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening after two defeats in a row in the championship.
Even though he sold Starman Adam Armstrong– Blackburn is making the trip to the City Ground after taking four points from games with Swansea City and Millwall.
Prediction for this match
Given last season’s disappointing results, Forest fans would have been relatively confident of scoring points from the Coventry City and Bournemouth games.
However, after two consecutive 2-1 defeats, Forest is one of only two clubs still looking for their first point in the championship and keeping the pressure on Chris Hughton.
The fact that no team has a 100 percent record in the division means that the East Midlands team is effectively one win away from making significant leap forward on the standings.
Still, Forest was able to focus on one game at a time at a time when Hughton and the club’s owners were looking for signings.
On the positive side, recent arrival Philip Zinkernagel marked his first championship start with the template for Scott McKennaGoal against Bournemouth.
As with Forest, Blackburn fans had to endure a quiet summer in the transfer market, a result of Armstrong’s big money exit only coming last week.
That said Tony Mowbray now has funds to upgrade a squad of players who have already scored four points from games in which they were the clear underdogs.
The point at Millwall was all the more impressive given that Blackburn was runner-up in The Den, a quality Mowbray will hope will benefit his side in the future.
After many members of Mowbray’s squad opted for a lack of rotation during the EFL Cup, they will play their fourth game in just 11 games on Wednesday night.

Mowbray will have to decide whether to stick with the 3-5-2 formation he used against Millwall in the second half.
Tyrhys Dolan was withdrawn during the break to adjust Hayden Carter, but the Blackburn attacker could get the nod ahead of time Sam Gallagher.
Loan player from Liverpool Leighton Clarkson is expected to be named on the bench.
Forest remains without Gaetan Bong as the left-back continues his suspension for violent behavior against Coventry.
Joao Carvalho, Alex power and Lewis Grabban all fight for a recall in the last third.
Cafu can also be preferred in midfield if Hughton opts for fresh legs.
Nottingham Forest possible starting line-up:
Samba; Lawrence-Gabriel, McKenna, Figueiredo, Osei-Tutu; Yates, Cafu; Mighten, Johnson, Zinckernagel; Grabban
Blackburn Rovers possible starting line-up:
Kaminski; Ayala, Lenihan, Carter; Nyambe, Buckley, Rothwell, Travis, Pickering; Brereton Diaz, Dolan
Probability: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Blackburn Rovers
Despite their recent defeats, Forest can claim they lost luck in both games. With that in mind, we believe Hughton’s side will finally take a board victory on Wednesday night and outlast a Blackburn side that didn’t rotate in the EFL Cup last week.
